About The Position

Pilates Instructors support members in pursuing happier, healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supportive, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time brand. The position involves developing client programs, teaching private and group Pilates classes, guiding members in safe equipment use, and helping members select suitable training programs.

Requirements

Experience in Pilates program design.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
High school diploma or GED.
1 year of personal training experience.
6 months of experience adjusting body alignment and using Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment.
Certified Pilates Trainer.
CPR and AED certified.

Nice To Haves

College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or another related field.

Responsibilities

Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
Instruct private and group Pilates classes.
Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use of equipment.
Conduct fitness consultations for new clients, including pre-participation screening and goal setting, to assess and recommend Pilates training programs.
Promote and sell Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes, and Personal Training to members.
Complete administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
Maintain the cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
Remain current on certifications and new industry trends.
Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends.
