Pilates Instructor for Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic
About The Position
Matrix Physical Therapy and Wellness is a new state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Santa Monica. We are a physical therapist-owned clinic that utilizes a multi-disciplinarian approach to healing. We are seeking a motivated, friendly, and hard-working team player who excels at patient/client care to join our team. A qualified Pilates instructor is needed for one-on-one sessions with our patients. Our name is the very essence of what we do. Like scaffolding around a building, we provide support and reinforcement while you rehabilitate. In addition to our premier Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Sports Physical Therapy, and Hand Therapy, we also promote overall health, fitness, and injury-prevention. Through our multiple therapy techniques, wellness programs, and other health and fitness services, Matrix Physical Therapy will provide the perfect environment to get healthy and stay healthy.
Requirements
- Certified Pilates Instructor.
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching Pilates.
- Professionalism, punctuality, and dependability.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of and prior experience working with patients who are post surgical.
- Working knowledge of and prior experience working with patients dealing with pain.
- Working knowledge of and prior experience working with patients who have orthopedic injuries.
Responsibilities
- Teach one-on-one Pilates sessions with patients.
- Market themselves and the clinic to bring in clients.
