About The Position

Apprentice Pilates Instructor for Club Pilates Corvallis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start their career in the fitness industry and become a certified Pilates instructor. The apprentice job itself will begin after the first portion of the certification training has been completed. At that point, the apprentice will be paid the same as a beginning instructor- while they are completing the program. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take your passion for fitness to the next level. Once fully certified, you will be eligible to teach at Club Pilates Corvallis as well as teach Pilates all over the world. Requirements

Passion for health, wellness, and fitness.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Eager to learn and develop as a Pilates instructor.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to take direction and constructive feedback.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to teach at least 6 hours per week.
Up-to-date CPR & First Aid training or willingness to maintain.
Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
Professional, neat, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
Passion for learning and willingness to complete remaining Teacher Training program hours.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Learn and demonstrate proper techniques for Pilates exercises.
Provide support and guidance to clients during workouts.
Ensure the safety of clients by closely monitoring their form and technique.
Assist with maintaining a clean and organized studio environment.
Continuously improve knowledge and skills through ongoing training and education.
Assist certified Pilates instructors in conducting group classes and private sessions.
