About The Position

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Pigging and Decoking Operator to safely and successfully execute jobs across service lines. The operator represents HPC Industrial and helps build an ongoing working relationship with clients and customers. The position includes assisting with fired-heater preparation and mechanical decoking, operating specialized equipment, and performing field and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and essential experience gained on other jobs.
Understand English well enough to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions during emergency situations.
Be capable of setting up job equipment, including lifting and carrying hoses weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be knowledgeable in operating emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment.
Pigging or refinery industry experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as a safety representative and follow company and customer safety policies and procedures, including operational, equipment, emergency-response, and administrative requirements.
Assist with rigging into fired heaters in preparation for decoking.
Assist with the mechanical decoking of fired heaters.
Operate special equipment.
Examine surface-cleaned areas when required to verify conformance with company and customer specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
Provide general maintenance in the field.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
