About The Position

This role is for a Pier Diem Sonographer who will provide support to locations in Kyle and Cedar Park, TX. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, a problem-solver, open to learning new skills, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and a team player.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography.
• EMR systems.
• Lower extremity/ vascular preferred.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
• RVT or RVS preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Lower extremity/ vascular experience.
• RVT or RVS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Assist during procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
