About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is hiring friendly and reliable coaches to teach beginner-level pickleball and tennis to children in Grades K–5 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Training, lesson plans, equipment, and coaching support are provided. This part-time, in-person opportunity may suit students, tennis players, and aspiring coaches who want to gain coaching experience and continue their interest in tennis. There are also opportunities to learn other sports and grow professionally. Classes are generally 1–1.5 hours long and may begin between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two or more days per week are preferred; the posting lists approximately 2–5 hours weekly. Pay is $50–$65 per class.

Requirements

Must be 19 years or older.
Enjoy working with children.
Be reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
Have good communication and classroom management skills.
Have reliable transportation.
Be able to complete a background check and meet vaccination requirements.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Pickleball or tennis experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Teach fun and engaging beginner-level pickleball or tennis lessons to children in Grades K–5.
Manage groups of 8–10 children.
Set up equipment and take attendance.
Keep classes safe, active, and enjoyable.
Communicate with parents and school staff.
