About The Position

The Pickleball Assistant Professional is responsible for promoting and teaching Pickleball clinics, private lessons, open play, and adult/junior/senior programs as assigned by the Director of Pickleball. This role involves organizing daily teaching schedules, conducting new member orientations, encouraging member participation in club events, and attending department staff meetings. The Assistant Professional must represent the club professionally, be punctual for all appointments, track client sessions and payments, enforce club policies, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of their work area and teaching court. They are also responsible for accurately recording work time and client sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and maintaining daily teaching schedule, including private and group lessons.
  • Providing new member orientations and evaluations, including introductions to the facility and programming.
  • Notifying and encouraging members to participate in club events.
  • Attending Department staff meetings.
  • Being available for posted Clinics or other job functions throughout the Club in emergency situations, schedule permitting.
  • Representing the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow-through and response.
  • Being on time for all scheduled appointments.
  • Keeping track of each client’s sessions and fee payments.
  • Enforcing all department and club policies.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the work area and teaching court, ensuring a safe environment for all users.
  • Accurately recording each day worked, the actual time worked and client sessions in the appropriate tracking system.
