About The Position

Fastenal is hiring an entry-level, part-time Picking employee at its distribution center at 2001 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987. The role helps move products from the distribution center to company-owned branches. Employees pick and pack orders, print routing labels, and move products to the next department by hand or with a pallet jack or forklift. The position offers 10–28 hours per week, with all days and hours available. A flexible schedule may be offered after onboarding and training and after performance goals are met. Employees are expected to follow health, safety, and sustainability rules and participate in related training and programs.

Requirements

Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service-oriented.
Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and extra time as needed.

Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and possibly up to 100 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).
