Seasonal Picker/Packer - 3rd Shift
About The Position
This is a seasonal Picker/Packer position on the 3rd shift, operating Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Overtime may be required, including Saturdays from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. This role is not eligible for benefits and is expected to last through the facility's peak season, with potential for extension or earlier end based on business needs. The facility emphasizes a 'Safety First Standard' and offers various engagement activities such as food trucks, employee events, holiday parties, and an employee recognition program, along with opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
- Basic math skills for accuracy in order picking.
- Proven success working in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the Jennifer system to accurately pick items based on order requests.
- Pack items for shipment, ensuring they are packed securely and labeled correctly.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding discrepancies or order issues.
- Adherence to all safety policies.
