About The Position

The distribution Piece Rate worker performs a variety of tasks within the distribution center to help fill and ship customer orders according to customer requirements. The role requires flexibility to transfer between jobs as needed. The worker picks and/or packs products for shipment, using a radio frequency (RF) device, while maintaining timeliness and quality standards and following safety and work guidelines.

Work takes place in a distribution center, potentially around conveyors and rolling stock, which may present hazards. Noise and dust may also be present.

Requirements

• Read shipping labels printed in English.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate good quality and attendance.
• Occasionally reach overhead and lift.
• Consistently carry up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pick and/or pack products for customer shipment using a radio frequency (RF) device.
• Complete picking and packing tasks in a timely manner and with a high level of quality.
• Transfer to other distribution center functions as directed by a supervisor when needed.
• Observe safety and work guidelines.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
