About The Position

CEDA is currently seeking a Knuckle Picker Operator for our Bonnyville, AB location. We offer competitive wages, excellent benefits and matching pension contributions starting on your first day. Hours will vary based on location and scope of job, with opportunity for overtime. This is a local work opportunity in the Bonnyville region with the possibility of camp deployment as required. Requirements

Valid Class 5 with Q endorsement
Must have a valid H2S Alive certificate and CSO
Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Able to travel throughout Alberta (flexibility in schedule is required)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
Perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
Able to plan and organize tasks meeting deadlines with high performance
Ability to work well in a team, share a laugh with your coworkers and get the job done safely

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain trucks
Haul, load, and off-load equipment
Understand and obey all provincial and federal highway rules and regulations
Ensure equipment meets operation and safety requirements
Take part in all safety meetings
Operate company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe and courteous manner
Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports, log book and safety documents
Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
