About The Position

This job will lead you to build lasting relationships with customers and collaborate on developing business markets. Also providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC’s quality and safety objectives.

Requirements

Valid class DZ license with air with a clean CVOR and driver's abstract
A minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry
Customer service experience
Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs

Nice To Haves

Forklift Certification
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification
Knowledge of compressed gases and basic welding processes

Responsibilities

As Driver: Products: Cylinders and hardgoods delivery.
Receives and processes customer orders (phone, email in, fax, etc)
Process and confirm delivery slips.
Assist in store with shipping, receiving, customer service and store duties as time allows / as required.
Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites and pick up empties then offload trucks upon return and sort the cylinders.
As Inside Sale Representative: Listens actively to customers to advise them on products, prices and availability in order to satisfy their needs. Answers technical questions.
Receives and processes customer orders (phone, email in, fax, etc)
Organizes the display of products in the store
