About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time, in person, at The Music Connection in Orland Park, Illinois. Preference will be given to instructors able to teach intermediate to advanced students and to candidates with greater availability. Teachers may set their availability within the school’s open hours, with consistency appreciated by students and staff. The successful candidate will have a strong music background demonstrated by a degree in piano performance or pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience; a demonstrated love of teaching; experience working with young musicians; punctuality; reliable transportation; and the ability to pass a routine background check. Pay is commensurate with experience and ranges from $27 to $33 per hour. The Music Connection is a community-driven conservatory of art and music in Chicagoland. Its teachers are accomplished educators and performers who provide students with education in a supportive and nurturing environment. Requirements

Strong music background demonstrated by a degree in piano performance or pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
