About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time in person at The Music Connection in Orland Park, Illinois. Preference will be given to instructors able to teach intermediate to advanced students. Teachers may set their availability within the school’s open hours, with preference given to candidates who have greater availability and can offer consistency. The Music Connection is a Chicagoland conservatory of art and music that aims to provide students with a high-quality education in a supportive and nurturing environment. Its teachers are accomplished educators and performers with experience helping students develop their skills and sustain success.
Requirements
- A strong music background demonstrated by a degree in piano performance or pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- A demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
