About The Position
Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and educator to teach piano lessons and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates; partnering with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention; and sharing musical expertise to foster student growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of music teaching experience, especially on piano.
Nice To Haves
- Further teaching experience on a related instrument.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
- Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
- 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
