About The Position

As a Physiotherapist Assistant at our Calgary Sunridge clinic, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. Dynamic, versatile and energized by a busy schedule, you welcome the opportunity to demonstrate your strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and your success in meeting timelines.

Requirements

• PTA/OTA diploma considered an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong critical thinking
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong computer abilities
• Ability to complete light administrative tasks as needed
• Take and follow direction well with ability to work autonomously
• Evening and weekend availability is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist
• Assist Physiotherapists with busy caseloads
• Ensures that gym area is free of obvious safety hazards
• Maintains a presentable and organized clinic
• Assembling chart packages
• Processing discharged patient charts and provider reports
• Perform administrative duties as needed
