Physics Laboratory Student Teaching Assistant
About The Position
The successful candidate will assist lab instructors and professors in the answering of student questions related to lab course materials. This includes questions about equipment set-ups and operation, concepts necessary for the lab, acquiring experimental data, treatment of acquired data, analysis and interpretation of experimental results, and preparation of proper lab reports. In the laboratory setting, the candidate will check laboratory equipment, demonstrate the proper use of laboratory equipment, and give guidance to students in the safe and proper handling of equipment. They will also help with maintaining a clean lab. The successful candidate will also attend the weekly lab instructors meetings.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at North Central College.
- Must have completed PHYS 131/132 with a passing grade ranging between A to C.
Responsibilities
