About The Position

Kent Place School is seeking a Science teacher with expertise and experience in teaching Physics for grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for collaborating with an inquiry-based department, advising a group of students, and participating in community events. Responsibilities include curriculum development and promoting STEM fields at the secondary or university level. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
Fluency with learning management systems.
Fluency with Google Suite.

Nice To Haves

Teaching experience in AP Physics C.
Experience with curriculum writing.
Experience teaching in an inquiry-based program at the high school level.
Master's degree in Science, a related field, or Education/Teaching.
A minimum of 3 years of prior teaching experience.
Experience or a strong disposition towards research-based strategies in teaching in STEM fields to empower girls and young women.

Responsibilities
