About The Position

The Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems and Architectures Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory invites applications for Associate Staff members. Requirements

Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Aeronautics/Astronautics, Engineering, or a related technical field or a Bachelor's and 3 years of experience.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with highly interdisciplinary teams.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Experience with MATLAB-based modeling, simulation, and data analysis.
Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret level security clearance with compartmented program eligibility.

Responsibilities

Conduct individual systems analysis studies of critical DoW missions, planned DoW capabilities, and new technologies.
Contribute to the development of physics- and engineering-based models for technologies related to sensors, aircraft, satellites, communication systems, navigation, and data exploitation.
Leverage a strong technical background to rapidly become knowledgeable about new technologies, learning from and collaborating with experts across the Laboratory.
Prepare and present impact briefings to convey key study findings and recommendations.
Deliver briefings to a range of audiences including DoW senior decision-makers, government technology experts, and Lincoln Laboratory colleagues.
