About The Position
Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated MDs and DOs to provide mobile wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities. This role offers a path away from hospital politics and administrative burdens, allowing physicians to focus on practicing medicine with autonomy. As an independent contractor, physicians manage clinical decisions and patient outcomes, while the company handles facility contracts and billing. The position emphasizes practicing pure medicine with the latest advancements in wound healing, free from legal ambiguity and hospital micromanagement. A custom software system is used to reduce administrative and documentation time.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.

- You do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.
