About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is a national wound care physician group seeking motivated MDs and DOs to provide critical, hands-on care to a vulnerable geriatric population in nursing facilities. As a mobile wound care physician and independent contractor, you will make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes, while the company handles administrative tasks, facility contracts, and billing. This role offers true autonomy, freedom from hospital politics and administrative burnout, and uncapped earning potential. Physicians will utilize a custom software system to reduce administrative and documentation time, allowing more focus on patient treatment.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
Active and unrestricted DEA license.

You do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.

Full-time physicians earn an average starting pay of $220,000 - $250,000 annually, with the potential to earn up to $300,000+.
