About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated physicians to lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Orange, Seminole, and Osceola Counties in the Greater Orlando area. This opportunity offers a consistent schedule without the unpredictability of emergency call, providing a path designed for the Florida lifestyle. The role emphasizes clinical sovereignty, allowing physicians to lead clinical direction based on their expertise, and utilizes tech-forward, mobile, and fast custom software for documentation, minimizing charting debt brought home.

Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Clear/Unrestricted Florida Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians are welcome.
• No previous wound care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Perform Surgical Debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Utilize advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Engage in collaborative care within the post-acute setting.
