About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated physicians to lead wound care initiatives within premier Skilled Nursing Facilities in the greater Miami area. This opportunity is ideal for surgeons looking to exit the "on-call" cycle or IM/FM physicians escaping the high-volume/low-autonomy grind of corporate primary care. The role offers a sophisticated clinical path that respects your time and expertise, providing a "No-Traffic" Schedule with no nights, no weekends, and zero "on-call" duties, allowing for a true M-F opportunity. Physicians will have Clinical Sovereignty to lead clinical directions based on their expertise and utilize a Mobile-First Documentation system designed to be intuitive and reduce administrative work.

Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Florida Medical License: Clear and unrestricted (or eligibility to obtain).
• DEA License: Active (or eligibility to obtain).
• Surgeons (all backgrounds), Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians are welcome.
• No previous wound care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives within premier Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Perform Surgical Debridement and other essential bedside procedures.
• Utilize advanced dressings and specialized healing protocols.
• Engage in collaborative care within the post-acute ecosystem.

• Average Annual Earnings: $220,000 – $250,000 (No earning cap as an Independent Contractor).
