About The Position
Skilled Wound Care is a national wound care physician group seeking motivated MDs and DOs to provide critical, hands-on care to a geriatric population in nursing facilities. This role offers true autonomy as an independent contractor (1099 provider), allowing physicians to make clinical decisions and manage outcomes without the overhead of a traditional clinic. The position focuses on practicing pure medicine, free from hospital politics and administrative burnout, utilizing the latest advancements in wound healing. The company provides a custom software system to reduce administrative and documentation time, and offers comprehensive wound care training, including biannual CME conferences.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.

- You do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.
