About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated physicians to lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout the Charlotte Metro, including Mecklenburg, Gaston, and Union counties. This role offers clinical autonomy outside the high-pressure hospital environment, providing a high-impact path without corporate red tape. The position offers a "No-Call" Lifestyle with a true M-F opportunity, allowing physicians to enjoy their personal time. Physicians will utilize the latest advancements in wound healing, including Surgical Debridement and other bedside procedures, Advanced Dressings and specialized wound protocols, and Collaborative Care within the post-acute setting.

Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/Clear North Carolina Medical License (Or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians are welcome.
• No previous wound care experience is required; comprehensive specialty training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Perform Surgical Debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Utilize Advanced Dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Engage in Collaborative Care within the post-acute setting.
