About The Position

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN to join a well-established, private practice in Portland, OR. The practice offers a full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology service, including high-volume obstetrics and robust gynecology with expertise in minimally invasive surgery. The medical office building and Labor & Delivery responsibilities are located at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, a Level I Trauma/Level IV NICU, and Randall Children’s Hospital. The practice emphasizes autonomy, flexibility, and a collaborative, data-driven approach to patient care. Physicians have the opportunity for unlimited income potential and a balanced work/life schedule, with a typical 3.5-day workweek. The clinic is committed to resident and student teaching and fosters strong collaborations with various surgical specialties and allied health professionals. In-office operations are designed to enhance patient and provider satisfaction, with support from Gyn Ultrasound technologists, OB Sonographers, and laboratory services. In-office procedures include D&C, Hysteroscopy, SIS, and LEEP, with Pro-Nox available for patient comfort. Partner assistance is provided for all surgeries, and affiliations with ASCs and hospitals optimize surgical scheduling. RN triage after hours reduces physician phone call volume. The clinic offers generous vacation time, staff development, and a focus on allowing team members to perform at the top of their license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert, individualized full-scope OBGYN care for patients.
  • Average 3.5 day workweek, comprised of clinic, call, and OR (majors and minors).
  • Provider-driven scheduling to allow for development of interests and work/life balance.
  • Call rotation is 1:6 home call with the option for post-call day off or half-day.
  • Commitment to resident and student teaching in office and hospital setting.
  • Engage in strong collaborations with MFM, GYN/ONC, Urogyn, general (breast) and colorectal surgery, and urology.
  • Utilize in-office operations designed to enhance patient and provider satisfaction.
  • Participate in in-office procedures: D&C, Hysteroscopy, SIS, LEEP.
  • Work with partner assistance for all laparoscopic, robotic, and open surgeries.
  • Affiliate with multiple ASCs and hospitals to optimize surgical scheduling.
  • Benefit from RN triage after hours to reduce physician phone call volume.
  • Focus on staff development with the goal for each team member to perform at the top of their license and capabilities.
