JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 JOB SUMMARY: Provide comprehensive and high-quality healthcare to women including routine obstetric and gynecological procedures, pelvic exams, pap smears breast exams, and monitoring patients throughout their pregnancy as well as providing medical consultation, patient counsel and support. The scope of services of diagnosing, managing, and treating diseases and issues related to women’s health will include the ambulatory and inpatient settings.

Requirements

• Licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine
• Medical Degree from an ACGME accredited school
• Current BLS certification
• Current ALS certification through any ILCOR provided courses (e.g., Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, American Red Cross) with a manikin check off (ALS required by specialty only)
• Board Certification or Eligible for Board Certification
