About The Position
Carle Health is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their established Radiology department. The department has redesigned its Breast Imaging workflow to meet future market demands. This position offers a unique lifestyle with rotations of two weeks remote and one week on-site, with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays. The role focuses 100% on Breast Imaging. The position is available in Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, and Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Physicians can choose to live in Chicago, Indianapolis, or St. Louis and commute for their on-site week, or reside in Central Illinois. The role also offers opportunities for academic or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, particularly for those interested in the intersection of AI, engineering, and breast health.
Requirements
- ABR Board Certified/Eligible.
- Fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging OR extensive clinical experience in high-volume breast imaging.
Responsibilities
- Perform 100% Breast Imaging.
- Participate in a rotation of 2 weeks remote work and 1 week on-site.
- Collaborate with the Radiology department on workflow optimization.
- Engage in academic or research opportunities with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine if interested.
