Requirements
- Medical doctorate (MD) or doctor of osteopathy (DO) from an accredited university
- Two (2) years post-residency clinical experience in an outpatient/inpatient setting
- Licensed in the state of employment
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and applicable certifications
- Board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine

Responsibilities
- Assessing and treating patients’ physical health including conducting exams and coordinating outside referrals.
- Oversight of clinical care activities provided by ARNPs, documentation, and after-hours on-call responsibilities.
- Performing minor procedures.
- Collaborating with psychiatric and interdisciplinary staff to ensure integrated care.
- Educating patients and families.
- Ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Tailoring treatment plans to the patient's age and development.
- Assess patients’ physical health through examinations and diagnostic procedures
- Provide and oversee documentation, outside referrals, consultations, and follow-ups
- Offer clinical oversight and support to ARNPs, including care provision and documentation review
- Perform minor medical procedures such as sutures, IV placement, and lumbar puncture
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and provide education to patients and families
