About The Position

Oscar Medical Group is seeking an innovative Physician to join their Virtual Health Assessment team in a part-time capacity. The role involves delivering quality care to patients via phone and video, and serving as a supervising physician to Advanced Practice Providers. This is a remote, part-time W2 role, working 20-29 hours weekly within specified hours of operation. The company is focused on refactoring healthcare and helping members achieve their healthcare goals in a personalized way.

Requirements

Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Must be licensed in TN and FL or Texas (full license, not telehealth)
Active IMLCC or eligible to apply
Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor
3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.
Experience with value based care documentation standards

Nice To Haves

2+ years of Telemedicine experience
Spanish fluency
Regulatory supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)

Responsibilities

Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
Provide medical care virtually (by phone, video, & message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Other duties as assigned
