About The Position

This full-time (1.0 FTE) clinical position involves 36 direct patient care hours per week, with a supervisory/collaborative role alongside Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The physician will also be responsible for ensuring the clinical operational workflows of the Urgent Care site, under the supervision of the System Medical Director of Urgent Care. Additionally, there may be billable administrative hours, averaging 5-8 per month. The Nampa Urgent Care clinic serves adult and pediatric patients with a range of illnesses and injuries, including simple fractures, lacerations, colds, flu, and other conditions not requiring emergency room care. The clinic operates 7 days a week from 8 am to 10 pm and is equipped with laboratory and imaging services, supported by RNs and CMAs.

Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school
  • BC/BE in Specialty
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
  • Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System
