About The Position

Concentra is seeking a highly experienced, mission-driven Physician for its client’s onsite primary care practice in Delray Beach, Florida. This PRN role is scheduled every Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST and offers a competitive hourly rate. The scope of care includes primary care, preventive care and wellness, urgent care with office procedures, and employment physicals, including DOT and first responder examinations. The physician is expected to provide exceptional, compassionate care and contribute to Concentra’s mission of improving the health of America’s workforce.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted medical license in the state of jurisdiction, as required for clinical and/or business duties.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• DOT certification.
• 5+ years of experience in a primary care and/or urgent care setting.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions.
• Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information, including HIPAA and PHI, in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies.
• Commitment to Concentra’s core practice standards and Policies and Procedures.
• Strong patient/customer service and bedside manner skills; enjoys treating patients and puts patients first.
• Ability to work as a team player in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assessments of client patients.
• Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for patients.
• Maintain clinical core competency.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies.
• Provide guidance to other medical staff to help achieve Concentra’s mission.
• Provide an excellent, compassionate, and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume.
• Manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a busy environment.
• Supervise, evaluate, coach, and develop staff.
