About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated physicians to lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs. This role offers clinical autonomy without bureaucracy, addressing the unique challenges of practicing medicine in New York City. The position focuses on providing efficient and effective wound care, utilizing custom software and a geographic focus to minimize transit time.

Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Clear/Unrestricted New York Medical License (Or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Completed Residency: Must have successfully completed an accredited residency program.
• Open Background: Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians are welcome.
• No previous wound care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Perform Surgical Debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Utilize advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Engage in collaborative care within the post-acute setting.
