About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated MDs and DOs to provide mobile wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities. This role offers a path away from hospital politics and administrative burdens, allowing physicians to focus on practicing medicine with autonomy. As an independent contractor, physicians will manage clinical decisions and patient outcomes, with the company handling facility contracts and billing. The position emphasizes a supportive environment, advanced wound healing techniques, and a significant reduction in administrative tasks through custom software.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
  • Active and unrestricted DEA license.

  • You do not need to have completed a full residency program.
  • You do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.
