We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinology Physician to join Riverside Medical Group in Coastal Virginia. This provider will deliver comprehensive endocrine care, managing a wide range of conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic diseases. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
  • Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship program
  • Current DEA license
  • Eligible for Virginia licensure at time of hire
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • BLS certification required
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior clinical experience in endocrinology practice preferred
  • Interest in diabetes management and patient education programs
  • Experience with insulin pumps, CGM technology, and advanced diabetes therapies
  • Strong interest in population health and value-based care

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient endocrinology care to adult patients
  • Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate multidisciplinary care
  • Interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and hormone studies
  • Educate patients on disease management and preventive care
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists
  • Participate in quality improvement and value-based care initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
