Join Riverside Medical Group’s Urgent Care Team Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking Physicians to join our MD Express Urgent Care team. We are recruiting for full-time, part-time, and labor pool positions across five convenient locations in southeastern Virginia. Urgent Care Physician Opportunities Location: MD Express Urgent Care – Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News, Hampton, Gloucester Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Labor Pool In this role, you will provide care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, teens, and adults, in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. About MD Express Urgent Care MD Express Urgent Care centers are open 7 days a week from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, offering accessible, high-quality care for a wide range of medical needs. Our providers rotate across five locations: Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News, Hampton, and Gloucester.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Current or eligible Virginia medical license
- Valid DEA controlled substance registration
- Meet comprehensive professional standards
- Excellent clinical judgment and discretion
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
- Friendly, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude
- Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve routine issues
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, teens, and adults, in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of illnesses, injuries, and urgent care needs.
- Performing minor procedures and vaccinations.
- Conducting physicals and screenings.
- Performing workers’ compensation evaluations.
