About The Position

Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Family Medicine Provider to join their team at Riverside Patriot Primary Care in Yorktown, Virginia. As part of the expanding Primary Care Network, the physician will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment, aligning with the mission to care for others as they would care for those they love. The role involves direct patient care, diagnosing and managing conditions, developing treatment plans, ordering tests, prescribing medications, coordinating care, educating patients and families, maintaining documentation, participating in quality improvement, and mentoring staff.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Active Virginia Medical License (or eligibility)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Current and valid DEA Registration

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Conduct comprehensive history and physical assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
• Prescribe medications and recommend non-pharmacological interventions
• Coordinate care with specialists and other providers
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
• Demonstrate leadership in mentoring and supporting clinical staff
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions
