About The Position
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled, board-certified/board-eligible general Pulmonologist to join our thriving outpatient practice in Linden, NJ. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-respected team while enjoying an exceptional work-life balance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a 100% outpatient setting. This full-time position features a four-day work week (Monday - Thursday) with no inpatient responsibilities, allowing you to focus on building lasting relationships with your patients. The ideal candidate will be available to start in 2026.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology.
- Must hold or be eligible for an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey.
- Current DEA registration.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with a wide range of pulmonary diseases, including COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease.
- Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in a light, shared outpatient call schedule.
