About The Position

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is a public health, mission-based organization with a network of services that include healthcare centers, pharmacies, and wellness clinics. We are seeking a physician specializing in family practice, internal medicine, or infectious disease for an AHF HIV primary care outpatient facility. The role involves joining a dedicated staff committed to serving the city's underserved patient population, including the LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. AHF is the largest specialized provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the nation, dedicated to providing cutting-edge medicine and advocacy regardless of the ability to pay.

Requirements

• Medical Board license MD/DO (State specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Infectious Disease.
• Valid DEA & Furnishing license.
• Comfortable with seeing up to 15-18 patients per day.
• Prior experience in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient Primary Care setting.
• Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire.
• Current CPR/BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) is required.

Responsibilities

• Treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient Primary Care setting.
• Seeing up to 15-18 patients per day.
• Participating in a shared call schedule.
• Conducting research in HIV and LGBTQ health.
