About The Position

Marathon Health is hiring a Physician to provide patient-centered primary care and occupational health services to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care model. The role offers a smaller patient panel of approximately 800–1,000 patients, appointments generally lasting 30–60 minutes, and a care environment focused on prevention, health outcomes, and patient experience. Care is provided in a capitated-fee model, with reduced insurance-related administration and support from electronic medical records and population management tools. Occupational health services include pre-employment and post-offer physicals, return-to-work and fit-for-duty evaluations, DOT physicals, and public safety and travel physicals. The physician also supports occupational health testing and programs, work injury and exposure care, stay-at-work coordination, work restriction recommendations, referral management, and regulatory, workers’ compensation, claims, and OSHA reporting. The physician is expected to collaborate in interdisciplinary care with at least two Advanced Practice Providers. Compensation is listed at $230,000–$280,000 per year, with an annual incentive and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The actual offer may vary based on location and the candidate’s experience and skill level.
