About The Position

Tia is seeking a physician passionate about providing comprehensive, affirming primary care to women at its New York clinics in SoHo and Williamsburg. As a Physician at Tia, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will provide full-spectrum primary care for women, including preventive care, holistic primary care, acute care, and chronic disease management. Your clinical expertise, collaborative approach, and desire to teach and support others will make you an integral part of the interdisciplinary care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care while also engaging in teaching, collaboration, and clinical partnership across the organization. You will also have the unique opportunity to work with Tia’s technology teams, contributing feedback and insights that help shape the products and tools used to care for patients.

Requirements

  • Board certified Physician, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with an active, unrestricted New York medical license.
  • 3+ years of outpatient primary care experience, including routine gynecology and women’s health care.
  • Comfortable providing comprehensive primary care, including preventive care, chronic condition management, urgent care concerns, basic dermatology, STI screening, UTI and vaginal infection care, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and birth control counseling.
  • Willing and eligible to be credentialed with Tia’s academic partners.
  • Able to serve as a collaborating physician for Tia’s New York nurse practitioners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, affirming primary care for women across Tia’s New York clinics, including SoHo and Williamsburg.
  • Manage a broad range of primary care needs, including preventive care, acute concerns, chronic disease management, basic dermatology, hypertension, diabetes, STI screening, UTIs, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and birth control counseling.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care using shared decision-making and a whole-person approach.
  • Collaborate closely with Tia’s interdisciplinary care team, including nurse practitioners, acupuncture providers, and support staff.
  • Serve as a collaborating physician for Tia’s New York nurse practitioners.
  • Support clinical teaching, coaching, and case collaboration across the care team.
  • Partner with Tia’s technology teams by providing feedback and clinical insights that help improve the tools and products used in patient care.
  • Stay current on evolving research and incorporate evidence-based practices into day-to-day clinical care.
