About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated physicians to lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities across the Greater Boston area and Eastern Massachusetts. This role offers clinical autonomy and a "no-call" lifestyle, providing an alternative to traditional hospital bureaucracies. The practice utilizes custom software to minimize administrative tasks and focuses on utilizing the latest advancements in wound healing.

Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Clear/Unrestricted Massachusetts Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians are welcome.
• No previous wound care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Utilize advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborate within the post-acute setting.

Benefits

• Average Annual Earnings: $220,000 – $250,000 (No earning cap as an Independent Contractor).
