About The Position
Skilled Wound Care is seeking motivated MDs and DOs to provide mobile wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities. This role offers a path away from hospital politics and administrative burdens, allowing physicians to focus on practicing medicine. As an independent contractor, physicians will have autonomy in clinical decision-making and patient outcomes, with the company handling facility contracts and billing. The position emphasizes pure medicine, free from legal ambiguity and hospital micromanagement, utilizing the latest advancements in wound healing. A custom software system is used to reduce administrative and documentation time.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.
Nice To Haves
- You do not need to have completed a full residency program.
- You do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.
