About The Position

Oscar Medical Group is seeking an innovative and boundary-pushing Bilingual (Spanish) Physician to join their Virtual Health Assessment team. This role is crucial in refactoring healthcare and helping members achieve their personalized healthcare goals. The physician will deliver quality care to patients via phone and video on Oscar's platforms and will also supervise Advanced Practice Providers.

Requirements

• Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Fluent in Spanish
• Must be licensed in TN and FL (full license, not telehealth)
• Active IMLCC or eligible to apply
• Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor
• 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.
• Experience with value based care documentation standards

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
• Licenses in MO, AL, MS
• Regulatory supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
• Provide medical care virtually (by phone, video, & message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
