About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible MD or DO with an active Illinois medical license to join our growing vein and vascular practice. Qualified candidates may come from one of the following specialties: General Surgery, Vascular & Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with venous disease and chronic venous insufficiency using both minimally invasive and non-invasive treatment options. Physicians will perform procedures including endovenous thermal ablation, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, ambulatory phlebectomy, and other office-based vein interventions. Training and mentorship in specific vein procedures can be provided for physicians who are interested in expanding their procedural expertise.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery, OB/GYN, Vascular & Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Active and unrestricted Illinois medical license required.
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience preferred (newly trained physicians with strong procedural experience are encouraged to apply).
  • Experience treating venous disease is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to learn office-based vein procedures through structured training and mentorship.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Willingness to travel for initial training at another clinic location, if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with venous disease and related conditions.
  • Perform office-based vein procedures, including endovenous ablation, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, and other minimally invasive interventions.
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, expected outcomes, and follow-up care.
  • Interpret venous duplex ultrasound studies and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, AAAHC, HIPAA, and other applicable regulatory standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Build collaborative relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and referring providers.
  • Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct while protecting patient confidentiality.
