About The Position

Join a highly respected, physician-led, integrated multispecialty health system ranked among America’s Top 50 Health Systems. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing vascular surgery team in a busy tertiary care setting with strong institutional support, advanced technology, and a collaborative culture. Practice at St. Mary’s Medical Center, a 330-bed tertiary care hospital and ACS-accredited Level I Adult Trauma Center. The role involves full-spectrum vascular and endovascular surgery with a diverse and challenging case mix, with current volume exceeding 500 major procedures and 1,000 percutaneous endovascular/minor procedures annually. There is an opportunity for continued service line growth with additional surgeon support. The clinical environment is advanced, with active involvement in multiple aortic research projects, including advanced branched endograft studies. There are dedicated single-plane and biplane endovascular suites with full access to the cardiac catheterization lab, and dedicated technical assistants for peripheral arterial and neuro-interventional procedures. The team includes dedicated cardiovascular OR nurses, surgical technicians, and anesthesiologists for high-risk and open vascular cases. There is close collaboration with interventional neuroradiology, structural heart, neurosurgery, and vascular surgery teams. Active regional screening programs for cerebrovascular, lower-extremity arterial, and aneurysmal disease are in place, along with a fully integrated atherosclerosis prevention program focused on primary and secondary prevention. Support is provided by 4 dedicated full-time vascular RNs and APPs. The call schedule is 1:4, shared evenly among the team.

Requirements

  • BC/BE Vascular Surgery
  • Endovascular training or experience required
