About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist in Slidell, La. This is a community hospital with the backing of a large system. Responsibilities

• Walk into a great group dynamic on the Northshore with a busy practice including 3 MDs and 3 APPs.
• Production model with base salary
• Call: 1:5 ratio, average of 5-6 days a month with paid call. Majority of after-hours consults are handled by phone.
• M-F schedule with block OR time.
• Access to UroNav, Robotics (Da Vinci), and Aquablation.
• Work in a brand new state of art surgery center that was just opened last fall.
• Benefit from support staff in the clinic as well as in the OR.
• See patients for procedures such as ureteroscopy, TURBT, TURP, cystoscopy, prostate ultrasound and biopsy, vasectomy.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary cancer care through the Cancer Center.
