About The Position
West Virginia University School of Medicine - Eastern Division seeks an Urgent Care Physician for (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Berkeley and Jefferson County. The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Urgent Care. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Shifts will vary and included multiple locations (Spring Mills, Inwood, and Charles Town, West Virginia).
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- State medical license, and DEA registration is required by start date.
- Completed a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency program.
- Board certified / eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the areas of Urgent Care.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
