Physician - Trauma Surgeon - per diem
About The Position
PeaceHealth is seeking a per diem Trauma Surgeon to cover shifts at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend, a Level II trauma center in Springfield, Oregon. The surgeon will work with a team of 8 surgeons and 5 advanced practice clinicians to coordinate and share the workload. The clinical work is a blend of trauma, general surgery, and ICU care. Shifts are 12 hours, with backup Trauma Surgeon support and in-house trauma surgical support. PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend is a state-of-the-art, 384-bed medical facility serving Lane County. PeaceHealth is a nonprofit health system serving communities throughout Washington, Oregon, and Alaska, with approximately 16,000 caregivers and 1,200 physicians and clinicians across 9 regional medical centers and approximately 200 community clinics.
