About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Physician specializing in Vascular Surgery. The role requires 24-hour call coverage, Monday through Sunday, with specific day and night shifts. The physician will be responsible for standard vascular procedures, including dialysis access and local anesthesia techniques, in an inpatient hospital setting. The patient population consists of adults and geriatrics, with an average daily patient load of 5-10 patients. This is not a designated trauma center.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery (REQUIRED)
• Active Virginia License (REQUIRED)
• Fellowship Training (REQUIRED)
• Active DEA Registration (REQUIRED)
• Must be Board Certified
• Must possess an active DEA registration
• Must hold a valid medical license in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard vascular procedures.
• Provide dialysis access.
• Utilize local anesthesia techniques.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage, Monday to Sunday.
• Work day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Cover night call from Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM - 8:30 AM.
• Cover weekend call from Friday to Monday, 4:30 PM - 8:30 AM.
• Manage an average patient load of 5-10 patients per day in the hospital.
